2015 | FEEKA | Kuala Lumpur

The Pleasures of Odds and Ends is my 2nd solo exhibition. The show represents my ongoing attempt to find ways to escape the rectangular confine of a painting surface. The show is inspired by the inter-connectivity of the internet. Part of the exercise is to re-imagine paintings as a series that extend beyond a single exhibition that can be re/viewed in different exhibitions and contexts. This exhibition presents a collection of ideas I have for a series of future exhibitions about painting.

A series of QR codes are presented alongside the individual paintings that link to related media online to provide entry points to those ideas.

These paintings will be featured again, individually, in my future exhibition with a different context. This exhibition will be mounted again once all the paintings have been featured in other exhibitions.
